Radical Generosity

At Joy Community, we believe in a lifestyle of giving with our time, our treasure and our talents.  We are convinced that giving not only accomplishes great things in the lives of others, it changes us as well.  Your giving makes it possible for us to be a bridge into our community and beyond to allow all to find hope, find love, and find God.  In addition to the option to give on Sunday mornings, you can also give with bill pay through your personal bank, by text, and online as well

WHY WE GIVE

We give out of obedience to Scripture, we give out of a sense of gratitude, and we give in the knowledge that God will use temporary, finite resources to build an eternal, infinite Kingdom. We give to make an impact both here on earth and one that will last forever.

HOW WE GIVE

The Bible teaches us a standard for giving to God: tithing.  This first 10% of our income that we give to the local church is a way that we put God first in our lives.  It is an act of worship where we show our faith in God, how thankful we are to Him for providing for us and our love for others around us.  This is the one area in Scripture where we are encouraged to test God.  To test and see that He will pour out a blessing on all who are obedient to give.  Make a decision today to practice the discipline of tithing and watch the amazing things God will do in your life!

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
